Hello, my name is Chris Tracey. That's me in the picture on the right. I'm middling 60 and live in Belfast, Northern Ireland where I am married and have a daughter and son. In 2011, I took an early retirement package, looking forward to plenty of time with books, music and travel. I have done a bit of that but what has been pleasing is to work with various organisations and to share learnings (and unlearnings!) gained from over thirty years working in educational organisations and in various voluntary groups.

I have a Bachelor of Education (B.Ed) degree and a Master of Arts (M.A.) in Education. Lifelong Learning and Developing Effectiveness are among my core values and for many years I have been a keen practitioner of neurolinguistic programming (NLP). Stay a while on this site and you'll find plenty of NLP stuff; I think it is really about education. See if you agree!

You might find the odd reference to France and things French.  Oui! - that's another value - I am a total Francophile.  You can imagine then how very proud I was, when in 2008 I was named Chevalier dans l'Ordre des Palmes Académiques by the French Minister of Education.  There's that education thing going on again....okay, let's learn together!
